In order to comply with the new GDPR, Mr Muir relies on paragraph 9.2 (h) of the EU legislation.

This provides that users of information for healthcare related matters do not require specific consent to retain data.

You may be assured that Mr Muir and his team take the security of patient information extremely seriously.  The data is held on a professionally operated secure server.  Only Mr Muir and his secretarial team have access to this data. The data is protected by a three stage login process.

Please contact us if you would like any more information on what data we keep and on how it is protected.  Please let us know if you would like us to delete any information that we hold on you.

If you are attending for a medico legal report Mr Muir will store the notes of your consultation, any questionnaires that you may fill out, details of the examination and details of the report that he has dictated.  Mr Muir will ask you to sign a consent form to allow us to store this information.
