Visit to Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India
Mr Muir had the pleasure of visiting Ganga Hospital in November 2018. He had the privilege of being invited to give a lecture on disorders of the PIP joint to the world famous Department of Plastic Surgery at the hospital.

Mr Muir shared the platform with Miss Sue Fullilove, Mr Chris Little and Mr Jonathan Hobby in a debate on scaphoid fractures. The session was chaired by Professor Tim Davis.

Published in conjunction with his colleagues in rheumatology, Mr Muir's latest publication on the reliability of digital ulcer definitions in systemic sclerosis is now available to download here.

New book
The FESSH monograph on "Fracture of the hand and carpus" is now available to preorder. Mr Muir and his colleagues from the Manchester Hand Institute have a chapter in the book on K-wiring and cerclage wiring.

The FESSH newsletter was published today. It has a new link to the EBHS diploma exam website with biographies of Professor Richter and Mr Muir, chairman and co-chairman.
BSSH in Cardiff 3rd and 4th May 2018
Mr Muir is presenting in two sessions in Cardiff. Firstly on scaphoid fractures on Thursday. Secondly he is presenting in the medico legal session on Friday.

ICHS Instructional Courses in Hand Surgery
Mr Muir is most grateful to the fabulous faculty at this weekend's course. For the first time on Saturday we experimented with case based discussions rather than lectures.
